Some days ago, i tried copying files from a memory card, but it kept telling me "This disk is write-protected". Tried as i could, i couldnt remove this write protection. when i googled for webpages with step by step procedures on removing write protection, i got inundated by the search results! a lot of tutorials on it. finally, i was able to get rid of it.

But to my amazement, NOT EVEN A SINGLE BLOG FROM THE SEARCH RESULT TALKED ABOUT HOW TO WRITE PROTECT A MEMORY CARD/FLASH!
Who knows how i can place a memorycard under write-protection??/
