What is our part to play or what role are we to play as children of God in our relationship. Outside God, we are nothing. In His word, the tree that bears fruit He will prone to bear more fruit but that which beareth no fruit, He will cut down. Likes beget likes, you cannot be like Christ outside of Him, here comes the need to cling to Him because in so doing we be like Jesus, we will please the Lord by bearing more fruit as He prunes us.
