Not many people know about Kunle Odunewu's web series "iSabi" even though he has been producing and showing the series on his YouTube channel since August 2014 when he premiered the first episode of "iSabi" and has produced five webisodes so far.
Is "iSabi" the first Nigerian web series?

"iSabi" is a dummy mobile phone application that knows everything. The idea was created as a joke that has turned into a reality.

Episode 2, starring: Yinka Davies and James Omotola

I thought "GIDI UP" was a Nigerian Web series. It was before iSabi na.

I think "Lekki Wives" used to be in webisodes too. Not so?

Yeah, I also think there have been quite a few others before.

Not sure why 'first' tag is one of the biggest deals with Nigerian productions... maybe one day there will be a 'production' that will be the 'first' to be 'brilliant' on EVERY level... alas that is still a long, long way away!
