@OP... Wat country was Sade Adu from when she won the Grammy award 4 times?

Sade has received four awards from nine nominations.

1986 Sade Best New Artist

1994 "No Ordinary Love" Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals Won

2002 Lovers Rock Best Pop Vocal Album Won

2011 "Soldier of Love" Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals Won

Dat dude isn't the first... tongue
Don't mind the uninformed OP and the moderator who took this to the front page.

You guys should read him up on his Wiki page before you start making ish comments---this guy is straight-up Naija. I love their group Pentatonix, have their Christmas album and I've been repping Kevin, check my posts (What music are you listening thread etc) I'm happy for him the guy has MAAAD skills. As of December 2014 he was the only member of his group to actually have a Wikipedia page. Yep, as of that time I checked.

How is he straight up naija?

There would have been another Yoruba one this year if Hollywood hadn't been racist to SELMA.

A Yoruba man played Martin Luther King perfectly!!!

SELMA is a must watch for every black household.

The biggest annual music award, The Grammys in its 57th edition, went down on Sunday, February 9, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and guess what a Nigerian went home with an award. Yes you heard right! A Nigerian won for the first time!

Nigerian, Kelvin Olusola, went home with the award for Best Arrangement, Instrumental Or Acapella.

Kelvin picked up an award alongside his acapella band, Pentatonix taking home the award in the ‘Arrangement, Instrumental or acappella’ category for their medley ‘Daft Punk’, a remake of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.

Here are few things you need to know about the record breaker, Kelvin Olusola:

Born in the United States to Nigerian father and Grenadian mother, Kelvin is a 26 year old beatboxer.

He is a graduate of prestigious IVY League college, Yale University from where he graduated in 2011 with a degree in East Asian Studies.

Kelvin is not just a musician, he’s super smart too. He also plays the cello, piano and saxophone.

He also speaks fluent Chinese & Spanish.

How is he straight up naija?

Meaning he has a Nigerian father. Yes he was born and raised there but unlike some people he maintained his full Naija name ie Kevin Olusola, never calling himself by some fake nickname to fit in. People coming on here acting like we can't claim he's a Nigerian because he was never born here is bull. Kim Kardashian is known to be Armenian even though she was born in America. Same difference.

I'll take it you're joking. He had a nigerian father and that makes him a Nigerian? Is he a citizen of Nigeria? Was he born in Nigeria? Does he have a Nigerian passport? Has he ever lived in Nigeria? (Even if he has lived there, it's not enough to say he is Nigerian).
He used his full name "Kevin Olusola". Which name he suppose use? Your papa name?
Kim K is known to be Armenian? By who? undecided
