Lagos Doctors Embark On 3-day Warning Strike by Nobody: 12:25am On Feb 17, 2015
The political uncertainty in Lagos may worsen as the Medical doctors in the employ of Lagos State, have embarked on a three-day warning strike to pressure the government to pay their withheld salaries.
Rising from its congress Sunday in Lagos, the medical doctors under the auspices of Medical Guild, said they decided to down tool after several ultimatum and notices sent to the state government yielded no positive results.
In a statement, the Chairman of the Medical Guild, Dr. Biyi Kufo, said the warning strike would commence from 8:00 AM on Wednesday to 8:00 AM on Saturday.
