Each time I go through that road, I ask myself same question: whose building is this? Till date, i am yet to find an answer to that! I guess we will never know....it is a lawless milieu where accountability is alien! |

This first time I saw this building, I thought I was dreaming. Its owned by 'AA Oil'. It looks out of place in a harsh environment as Nigeria. And it seems no paint was used on the exterior. I learnt that every material was imported. Although, there are buildings like this in Africa. It is modelled after the US White House, but surely looks more sophisticated than the White House. Almost all the official residences in Britain, London streets and Europe, have the same style of Neoclassical Architecture. They were constructed more than 200 years ago. The man has done what the government can't do in Nigeria. We are moving! Naija for life! |
