In an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer
awareness last year, women posted on Facebook the
place where they liked to put their purses. Examples
included “I like it on the couch”, “I like it on the table”, “I
like it on the counter” etc. It did it’s job and had people
asking ‘What the hell are people talking about?’ in turn
raising awareness for breast cancer…
…somehow. It’s a far cry from when the updates were
had something to do with breasts “Blue”, “Green”,
“Pink” …. That was two years ago when the whole
hoopla began and women updated their status with bra
colour.
Anyways, they’re doing it again and it’s leaving people
asking yet again… WTF?
If you see any women post the following (or similar
too):
“I’m 10 weeks and craving Peanut Butter Cups”
“I’m 16 weeks and craving Mini Eggs”
“I’m 4 weeks and craving Cherry Jello”
Don’t freak out. AND If you’ve slept with her X number
of weeks ago, no she is NOT pregnant. She’s raising
awareness for breast cancer. Simply by stating her
date of birth, Month, followed by Day.
