FOR THE "LOVE" OF BOKO HARAM
When Dry Rage Replaces Fake Tears
--Attorney Patryk Utulu

My Dad taught me that the "brave" stories a man tells in public can reveal his private fears if you know how to listen with your mind. As the Nigerian Military continues to improve and gain the upper hand in our existential war on Jihadists it is becoming easier to see the link between the ostentatious protestation of Military inaction as well as the public tears and the private fears of Boko Haram sympathizers.

UNshockingly (to some of us at least) many Nigerians are genuinely upset that Boko Haram is no longer "winning." When our troops were being slaughtered in the process of transforming from a conventional army to an army that needed to learn to fight asymmetric warfare, the Boko Haram sympathizers feverishly reported every blooddrop as evidence-dramatis of the supposed hopelessness of Nigeria. Every slaughter of our cousins in the Northeast was denounced as evidence of grand conspiracy of genocide. Strangely, every fight-back by our troops was equally denounced as evidence of conspiracy of genocide for the ICC to look into.

Therefore you would assume that those who publicly wailed and gnashed their teeth in protest of the slaughter of innocent civilians would welcome the death of the terrorists. In other words, now that Boko Haram agents of "genocide" are being pursued beyond the gates of hell you would expect a bit of gratitude and praise for the Nigerian troops. Alas, no, because the soul-mates and trumpeters of Boko Haram "victory" are sulking and sitting silently in primitive rage pretending to not notice that Nigeria is finally in sustained winning. As a kid my Dad also taught me that a snake is never truly dead until you've separated its head from the body.

So, I kept on looking for signs of viperous life in these dejected Boko Haram sympathizers. Oh yes, oh yes, they are dejected but not dead. At times they make pitiful attempts to change the subject from news of our military victory. Sometimes they merely "deny" that our troops are winning but without making the least attempt to providing contrary facts. Or, in their ultimate juvenile protest form they complain about HOW the story of our victory is being told -- like a person who, having read a brilliant bestseller novel somehow feels compelled to protest the color of the book binder.

So, why do some Nigerians fear the end of Boko Haram "genocide"? BECAUSE THEIR PUBLIC WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT HIJACKING POLITICAL POWER AND NEVER ABOUT SYMPATHY OR CONCERN FOR OUR INNOCENT COUSINS SLAUGHTERED BY BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS.

Thus, for Boko Haram allies and sympathizers: Happiness hurts.

Oga shut up....why is the NA just living up to its responsibility after thousands of lives have been lost due to their negligence....you seem mentally irrational to know that negligence is a crime under the law abi? I know its comfortable for you to sit somewhere in the USA and write gibberish after you have been benefitted from the incompetencies and sleaze of the present govt.....My question still remains why did the NA leave it till now if they had men who could carry out the Ekiti magic!
