I've got terrible news for all you rappers and hustlers, the bane of your existence is gone! The last Bugatti Veyron has found a home...in the Middle East!

Sure hope you weren't holding out for
a discount: Bugatti announced today
that the very last Veyron supercar, the
450th example of the breed, has been
sold.
Kind of hard to believe, but it's been
ten years since the first Veyron rolled
off the assembly line. When it did, it
was a revelation—an 8.0-liter, 16-
cylinder, quad-turbo force of nature
kicking out 1,001 horsepower and
hurtling to a Top Gear-verified 253
mph top speed.

Of course, it didn't stop there. If the
"regular" Veyron 16.4 wasn't enough
for you, in 2010 the company put out
the Veyron Super Sport, a stonking
1,200-horse bruiser that holds the
current world record for production car
top speed at 267 mph.
And if you wanted a lot of wind in your
hair, starting in 2009 Bugatti introduced
the targa-top Grand Sport, whose top
speed was limited to "only" 229 mph
with the roof removed, though the full
253 was available with the snap-off
hardtop installed.

But of course, all good things must
come to an end. Having sold 300
hardtop Veyrons and 150 Grand
Sports, the book closes on this
moonshot project. And yes, progress
marches on: Today, there are
production supercars that make more
power than even the most muscular
Veyron
, as well as turbocharged tuner freak
machines that out-accelerate it
.
So, yes—the Veyron era is over, but
consider what it represented. Not only
did parent company Volkswagen
resurrect one of the most legendary
automotive names, the company
endowed it with the best engineers and
tasked them with four simple-sounding
but enormously complex goals: create
a car with more than 1,000
horsepower, that could crest 240 mph,
rocket from zero to 60 in under 3
seconds, and hardest of all, "still be
suitable for driving to the opera in
comfort and style."
Perhaps unsurprisingly, chassis
number 450, the Grand Sport Vitesse
"La Finale" shown above, has been
sold to a customer from the Middle
East to be part of his private collection.
Before it's delicately stored away, La
Finale will be on display at the Geneva
Motor Show in March.
Whether or not you get to see the very
final Veyron—or any Veyron, for that
matter—it's a name you won't soon
forget. And for that, we auto
enthusiasts of the world will be forever
grateful.

After I have finished rocking my Mc Laren F1, I will look the way of the bugatti.
There are only three super cars I wish to test drive
1. KOENIGSEGG AGERA R
2. PAGANI ZONDA R
3. McLAREN F1

But I still respect the bugatti anyday, anytime

Nope, only the veyron model. Bugatti may be pulling out some other model in the soon future.

I cannot imagine driving a veyron along ikorodu road only for it to over heat, then I look for a nice mechanic to help remove the troublesome thermostat. Finally, when cruising to visit nurey at ipaja ayobo or abule egba only to meet a large pot hole filled with muddy water....

Ti awon boys ba ya wa ba eeh where your bugatti halted, you will drop 1million naira before kazeem even attempt to open the Bonnet. Also it takes the bugatti 12minutes to empty tank at top speed, probably you did be filling up every 5 or less minutes to keep her going, I doubt if you can pass that Abule Egba with bugatti without carting home your bumpers, exhaust system, side skirts, tail wing
