You are looking at champions league but even with that, EPL has produced three diff. winners in Liverpool, Man utd and Chelsea since 1992 more than any European league. Even when you look at the whole history of the competition, it has five diff. winners (Aston Villa and Nottinghamp Forest) more than any league you think is the best. Have a look at the appearances of the EPL teams in the semis of this competition and you will be convienced EPL is better than your Madrid & Barca league called Liga Primera.

We are comparing local stats here not the inter league competition(just like saying why is US a better place than naija will you bring in how US donate to other nations?)And are u sure no Epl team has won the EL?

Donation is different from this. Every year there is competition locally and internationally. It's rare to see a bundesliga fan watch la liga or a serie A fan watch Epl and like that. How would you expect a Ligue 1 fan to watch teams from all round europe play? Aint it the European competition? If as a Ligue 1 fan and I watch this European competitions and certain teams keep failing there I will assume the league is weak.

Only chelsea has won it in recent times and it's only chelsea that has been consistent in CL.

So it's fine saying chelsea is the only team in epl worth the discussion

It's everywhere. No team is super guaranteed of winning his next match. Wasn't Mourinho praised for his success? What did he achieve in Spain? He won just three trophies in three years? He also went trophyless. He just the highest humiliation of his career there against an arch rival. He lost at home. All these things never happened to him anywhere. EPL is all about hype.
