I see adverts of tutorial centers. That would make you a graphic designer with about 4 classes which I think wouldn't make you a professional.. Can someone please enlighten on steps to take to be a Professional graphics designer here in Lagos? Cos I wanto have a career with that..

Would a degree probably with Aptech, Niit or New Horizons be necessary?

You better teach yourself. Many of this schools don't offer much.

Go to Youtube and watch tutorials on graphics.
Download recommendable software tools.
Use google for your research.
Mingle with other graphic designers on the streets to get more knowledge.
Also, join online graphics designers online.
Lastly, if you need work go to fiverr and start earning.
