[b] Four out of five women do not wash every day and a large proportion can go for three days without hopping into the shower a new study has revealed.



Only 21 pc of women surveyed took a shower or bath each day and more than one third admitted leaving it as long as three days between each wash.

The research revealed that 63pc of women do not take off their make up before going to sleep, while one in eight do not brush their teeth on a daily basis.

UK skincare range Flint + Flint quizzed more than 2000 UK women on their bathing rituals and found that post-work tiredness and a longing to snooze in the morning were the most common reasons for slacking hygiene.

The grim findings revealed that 89pc of women wish they had better hygiene and more than half of the respondents admitted to freshening up with wipes before bed.

Despite the stinky results the survey found that 92pc of women understand the importance of a good skin care routine.

Flint + Flint owner Maxine Flint said: "I understand the appeal of a lie-in but skipping a morning wash is both anti-social for the people around us and unhealthy.

"We are talking about routines that literally take minutes out of your day. It's true that today's pace of life is fast but surely as a nation we haven't become too busy to wash.

"We were alarmed to hear about the number of women not looking after their skin by following basic skin care regimes.

no wonder wetin? That statistics is false from my own experience only 5% of the entire european people take their bath once in 3days as for the rest 95% they mostly takes their bath once a month.
