I have someone in south africa, and i'm thinking of importing goods (small scale) from south africa. Do you think south africa's good will be cheap like that of china, japan, etc. What advice do you have for me?

You have state what you are importing. Compare the price in Nigeria and how much you are buying it.
Is the product produced in South Africa? If not it will not be cheap. South African Rand is higher than naira.

For you to be successful in importation business and to avoid being duped by any foreign seller, you must have an adequate knowledge of:
Import operations.
Import management.
Import documentations.
Methods of payment in import business e.g Letter of Credit (L/C)
