Poverty Mentality Some People Have About Life by Manty(m): 2:06pm On Mar 02, 2015
Many people today lacking in will and determination to succeed have negatively psyched themselves into believing desiring good things and a qualitative life is tantamount to lack of contentment and greed.
They have convinced themselves that poverty and lack are top line attributes of humility. Cheap things and low quality living are prime indicators of modesty and contentment. And being poor and experiencing difficulty financially make them more spiritual and naturally increases God’s love and mercy for them over the rich and prosperous.
Many financial strugglers believe they are better in character and morals than the rich and there is an awkward air of spiritual superiority they carry over the rich and blessed.

Hence they are quick to pray extensive and deep prayers for the rich anytime they need a helping hand. In fact many poor relatives of the rich believe God is blessing the rich amongst them primarily because of them and when at times the rich can’t do all they want for them, they take offence.
Many poor people see the rich as worldly, greedy and non-religious and generally believe the rich are responsible for all the ills in the land and are to be held responsible for the uneven distribution of wealth in the world.

They hold a dangerous opinion that rich people are bad and poor people are good and should the opportunity arise they will punish and deal with the rich ruthlessly. Hmmm.

Dear friend, you will be surprised at how popular and rife this opinion is among the not so rich people. It appears there is this non verbalised conspiracy amongst the poor and financial strugglers to hate the rich and punish the rich and betray the rich and hurt the rich when there is an opportunity to do so.

They feel very comfortable with this though and mind-set ignoring the truth that being good or bad has nothing to do with financial status.
They forget there are many mean and wicked broke people around them as well as mean and wicked rich people; they also wouldn’t accept the fact they have very good poor people and very good rich people around them. Being good or bad has nothing to do with money.

The frustration of their state of lack would not allow for objectivity because they can’t just stand it that what they find difficult to accomplish, other people seem to be accomplishing with ease. So they conclude all rich people must have stolen or a dubious and are cheats and deserve punishment. They keep believing the bases for every wealth is filthy.

So when they see a lovely car, a well-dressed person, a beautiful house, a quality life style, instead of been inspired and motivated, they judge and immediately begin to imagine negative things and wonder about the source rather than give credit to the achiever and the successful. Hmm.

Jealousy, strife and envy; having a blanket opinion that all rich people are thieves or criminals does not change you or improve your circumstance.
That believe does not pay your rent when it’s due, it does not pay your children’s school fees, it does not build you your own house, it does not pay your hospital bills when it arises, it does not protect you from financial embarrassment, it does not make you honourable in your family and your community, and does not earn you respect and dignity. Hating and criticizing the rich offers you no benefit what so ever.

Thinking poverty is a symbol of humility and holiness is the greatest delusion and self-deceit of all times.
Poverty makes you a victim of circumstances, victim of abuse, oppression, ridicule, scorn, rejection, disdain, disrespect, abuse, shame and unwarranted insult. Even God hates poverty.
My dear friend, you can be rich too you know. You see, people attribute fast and easy success to luck. When they meet young people who appear to have succeeded very early in life, they conclude it’s all about luck or further more – conclude they’ve been predestined by God for it.

You see, the almighty does not predestine our actions; if it were so, God will not hold any human being responsible or accountable for any action either good or bad because he made them do it in the first place, so he can’t judge, blame or reward anyone; he would be unfair.

You can’t make me do something and still blame me can you? God actually predestines the consequence of our actions and inactions, either good or bad, so when you act, you experience God’s pre-ordained result for your action, and when you don’t act you experience God’s pre-ordained result and consequence for your inaction.
That’s why and how the power to choose still resides with mankind. The power to choose is always ours, that’s why we are accountable and we can be judged.

You see, everything that happens in life is a consequence of a choice and a decision. Successful people are always taking action for success; large or small they take action quickly and frequently. They know alright they may either fail or succeed, they don’t let that stop them they still take action anyways thereby increasing their chances of success in pursuit of their dreams. They succeed because they make more frequent attempts than others.

People who fail focus more on the probability of failure so they do nothing, people who succeed focus more on the probability of success and even when they fail, they take responsibility, learn from it and try again, doing it better this time till they succeed.
People who are not successful hardly attempt anything, blaming people and circumstances for their refusal to take chances.
You are not broke or poor because you are designed that way, unlucky, religious or humble, you are broke because your attitude to risk is low, your attempt rate is low and you lack the will and determination to work hard enough, learn hard enough, come up with enough ideas to change your situation.

You’re probably still broke today because you’re mind-lazy, laid back and too timid to try and change your situation.
The ultimate success principle is to come up with results and solutions people are willing to pay good money for. It’s not just coming up with an idea, a product or service, nooo. It’s coming up with it in a most appealing and attractive way to get customers switching from existing products and paying good money for the alternative you’re offering. Don’t just come up with anything, come up with something powerful and sellable; if you know what I mean.
Your attempts determine your success rate, try nothing you get nothing.

Get up today and do something, stop grumbling, complaining and crying over the rich that cheated or the corrupt. You, decide to become rich without cheating or corruption. After all it’s your life and the gains or pains will be exclusively yours eventually, do what is right, everyone has a reward. Attempt something great today.

Enjoy your day.

. The more successful one gets, the more careful one must be to ensure the grandiosity of their ego does not blind them to potential threats. Likewise, the more successful you become the more at risk you become; you inspire more jealousy and you possess more that can be lost.
