I just can't understand why people will decide to take laws in their hands and carr out jungle justice.
You can imagine how this innocent girl must have been pleading for her life to be spared before being burnt to death; and now it turns out to be a case of a young lady troubled with insanity. Please read below:

A young woman who was burnt to death by a mob in Bauchi State after being suspected of being suicide bomber might have been suffering from a mental illness, according to the police.

After her death, it was reportedly discovered that the bag she was protecting contained empty bottles and not an explosive device as suspected.

“Yes, we took their statement. They (the family) noted that their daughter had that challenge,” the Bauchi State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed said confirming that the deceased indeed had a mental illness.

Mohammed also stated that the police had begun investigations into the matter and that the perpetrators of the act would be brought to justice.

This is why I don't support jungle justice. Innocent people get killed

The rate at which we practice jungle justice in Nigeria needs be curtailed asap.
