Unroot your phone first before you do anything. If you use kingroot go to setting, root authorization setting. Remove root permission. That's all and reset the phone.

If you did that imei tweaking, restore your IMEI and you are good to go

Guys im really frustrated, ive tried everything to root my hot note pro on lollipop, but the darn thing have refused to root. Ive tried everything i can find, ie flashing recovery with SP flash tools, ADB, Fastboot, AIO flasher, i even copied the cwm recovery to a stock rom and flashed, still no joy. Can anyone here suggest something else or help with a solution. Thanks in advance.

you have to first flash it then upgrade via OTA

You can easily update ur device and not brick ur fone. I did mine by following the procedure I read on a tech site like dat and it was so easy.Lemme post u d link add

Also, don't flash d earlier lollipop version and then upgrade. It's a waste of time and data. Just flash the latest update 0828 directly on ur device and you are good to go.

BTW, make sure that ur device is not rooted. If rooted already, pls unroot it and flash the stock recovery bfo u proceed

Mine had a little bug of "system UI has stopped, so I had to restore factory settings.... And Low and Behold.... My phone is bug free with the latest update of 28/08/2015

Stay on 0730 and wait for the official XUI this month... 0828 is also buggy and ram management is poor.

Please do I need to unroot my note pro before flashing comfort custom rom?... pls urgent replys..God bless
