I have a friend who is confused about taking a job in old mutual or waiting do an interview for zenith bank. The old mutual job pays 40k for a 6months probationary period n zenith 75k but on a 2years contract basis. The person is meant to start the old mutual job on Monday and is at the the 2nd stage for the zenith bank job which takes place on Thursday.

What's the salary after 6months at old mutual? What's the distance from your home to the office?

The zenith offer sounds like slavery. Although, I think zenith places you at a branch nearest to your home address (not sure if that's still in practice though).

He should accept the Old mutual while he still attend the interview with zenith because the fact he has been invited for interview does not mean he will get the Job even after medical.

Old Mutual are investors from Europe, they bought over Oceanic insurance, a friend of mine just join them though @ a management level. Am surprise your friend is been offered 40k per month as basic salary or what. Well I will advise he/she stick to the Insurance sector, promotion is sure and they hardly lay off like the banks.
