More than half the population of Edo state live in Edo South. Yet, Edo South has seven of the eighteen local councils in the state.

There is actually a city called lagos. The former capital of Nigeria. Comprised mainly of the islands and the mainlands up to igbo I or so. Then, Ikenna, a quiet town, capital of lagos state was then 32km away. But now the city has evolved, a mega-city up to Ogun state. Lagos of today is more or less a city state

Bro is not a lie, Ogbomosho is the second biggest city/town after Ibandan in the whole of SW, take a trip & tour the city/town its will clear your doubt, have been there before honestly ogbomosho is big & densely populated despite no major industry whatsoever there. Am 100% sure the population of Ogbomoso city/town is more than that of Benin city (not Edo state oh) because have been to both & did my survey.

Try to understand they ain't referring to the whole of Kwara state but its capital alone which is Ilorin, am much more sure the population of Ilorin isn't as much as that of ogbomoso try to find out & the population of Kano you stated isn't up to 9m but that of Kano state is even more than 9m. Get the logic its about city & not the entire state.

have reside in both cities (ogbomoso and ilorin ) and i can confidently tell you that the estimated population for ogbomoso is right, do not forget that ogbomoso has 6 local government areas, but ilorin is far more developed than ogbomoso, the reason why ogbomoso's is densely populated without any major industry in the city remains a mystery to me.
