THY, Turkey's national airline company, launches its new route to Nigerian capital Abuja.

Turkish Airlines, Turkey's national air carrier, announced Tuesday that it started flights between Istanbul and the Nigerian capital Abuja.

Turkish Airlines (THY) flights will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, which will be the third flight point in the country after Lagos and Kano.

The prices of all-inclusive and round trips start at €449 ($502) from Istanbul to Abuja and €607 ($678) from Abuja to Istanbul.

Lol. The Enugu airport is at best, a secondary intl airport at this time. But, it could become the hub for the former Eastern region in the future.
The increasing population of Abuja, coupled with the plans for several commercial and financial zones in the city, could make the airport very busy.
