Where you are today is a product of the people you came in contact with yesterday. Your presence is mostly determine by your contact and decisions of yesterday and how you move up is determine by the people you meet now, while some contacts add value to our lives, some reduce it. Here i highlight the 6 categories of people or friends you cannot do without.

1. The blessers

These categories of people are called blessers, they are ready to add value to your life because they are above you. When you take a problem to them, they are ready to help you solve it even to their own detriment. They can go extra miles to make sure you are comfortable. These sets of people never care if you may move ahead of them, all they care about is helping you achieve your dreams. They are mostly sanguine in nature and easy to find if your attitude and pride will allow them.

2. The reducers

Watch out for this kind of friends. They never believe anything good will come out of you, they are called professional discouragers, even if they are ahead if you, they never want you to reach that level. You show them your plans, they find fault in it to ridicle your ambition. They are sometimes backbitters, they pretend to be your friend but behind you they are already cutting your ladder. You buy a car, they complain about the model, you put on a shirt or gown, they complain about the fitness and the designers even when they knew you look awesome in it. They are those set of people that knew you are more intelligent or brilliant than them in school but resort in telling you that "There are no jobs, why reading so hard!! they want you to think like them because they want to console themselves..be careful of those kind of people because they can kill you while still alive.

3. The killer

Dont be scared of the subheading, they neither carry gun or arrow but they are physical killer. When you start a business, they are ready to kill that business through any means. They have masters degree in jealousy, they will ask you as if they care "what kind of business do you want to enter into now? you obnoxiously tell them, they hold the information and nail you. Mind you, even in the spiritual world "No devil can attack you or change your destiny except they have information about you". Even after frustrating your plans or business, they come to you as if they care to know how far you have gone with the business plan, if it fails, it is their own joy within while they make mockery of you outside.

4. The exploiters

They are parasites, they will pinch you and still apply iced block. They dont like you but they are interested in what you have. Those set of friends will have money with them, but they prefer to keep theirs and spend yours. They dont want you to compete with them, they hate anything called WIN-WIN scenerio but a WIN-LOSE. If you just collect your salary in the same month with theirs, they are ready to come and borrow from you and if you refuse, they count you as enemy. All they think of his exploitation to render you useless and incompetable. They monitor what you have and dont have, so i called them your "oxford dictionary". They knew you have only a pair of shoes and you just bought one and planning to go on outing with them, they will opt to borrow your new pairs advising you to make do with the old one. All to make you incompetable. some of them are building mansions and still want to lend from you staying in a room. They are regulars in your house when you are bouyant but when your account is red, they are no where to be found. To lend you money, they will tell you the story of john the baptist while you are dying in hunger. Watch out for them

5. The troublers

Woah!!! These sets of people never believe in possibility, they build their dreams on procrastination. If you tell them a plan you have, they will reply with " Is not possible in this Nigeria" watch out for this kinds of people

6. The neutral

They will neither reduce or add values to your Life, they are just there. If you take a plan to them it is okay, a problem it is okay, everything is just okay in their own eyes. They neither criticize you or profer solutions to a problem. They are just existing with no focus or ambition

They are all there to learn from.

They are everywhere. Families, Churches, Offices, Associations, Etc.

We just have to deal with people based on which of these categories they belong.

Everybody just want to play smart. Like someone always say 'being human is beautiful'.
