Faith leaders around the world are praying to save Christian convert, Kelly Gissendaner from the death penalty. Before coming to The Lord in prison, Gissendaner plotted with a boyfriend to murder her husband and was sentenced to death in 1998. "I have learned first-hand that no one, not even me, is beyond redemption through God's grace and mercy," she says. An offender who is sincerely sorry for his/her wrong & humbly apologises to the aggrieved with a vow never to repeat same, deserves a second chance. Unfortunately, our system of govt. doesnt work that way. |
