Question: Forgot Windows 7 password, what should I do to get back in computer?

I use windows 7 and there's no way that I can remember my password to log on to administrator on my computer. There's no guest account, either. So the only way for me to use my computer again would be deleting the password or being able to get it back?

I've read that if when I turn my computer on before it boots up, I can press f8 or f11 or something like it to start it in safe mode. And then I will be able to change the password without having to put the old password. But I failed to enter safe mode as it prompts for password. I have no idea about the password.
