I want to know if Nigerian expatriates  living abroad are required to pay tax locally (in Nigeria) too. I know at least that UK and US citizens living abroad do pay some sort of tax in their country . Thanks for letting me know

Simple answer is NO.
They wanted to impliment some bilateral shit 2yrs ago but i think it faded. Under the scheme, Nigerians in the U.S would pay lower taxes (social security, state, local e.tc.) so that they would also be able to pay taxes to the Nigerian government. This would only apply to Nigerians though. If you're a naturalized citizen then you don't need to pay jack to naija.
