Is Nigeria Going The Way Of Turkey??? by diamondcrownltd(f): 8:49pm On Mar 12, 2015
IS NIGERIA GOING THE WAY OF
TURKEY?

•Turkey is in the present day Europe and partly in Asia minor.
•Apostle Paul was a citizen of Tukey because Tarsus exists in Turkey.
•Christianity existed in Turkey for about 1,023 years while Christianity has only existed in Nigeria for 172years starting from when Rev. Birch Freeman came to Badagry in 1842.
•The seven churches Jesus spoke to in Revelations 2&3 (Ephesus, Smy
rna, Laodicea, Philadelphia, etc) existed in the old Turkey.
•The disciples were first called Christians in Turkey (Antioch)
•Turkey once had the largest Christian auditorium in Europe called Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.
•Mary the mother of Jesus was taken to Turkey by Apostle John and till date, her room has become a tourist centre.
TURKEY TODAY
•Present day Turkey now has 96%
muslims & 0.02% Christians (less than 130,000).
•The Hagia Sophia (once largest church in Europe) was taken over by muslims and converted to a mosque for over 400years and later used as an Islamic Museum.

WHY CHRISTIANITY COLLAPSED IN
TURKEY
•Emphasis on doctrinal differences weakened the Turkish church.
•Rivalries amongst denominations
•Petty politics in church coupled with ethnic biase.
•The Turks were building big cathedrals instead of building men.
HOW IT HAPPENED
•Osman Ghazi discovered the dis-unity amongst Christians and used it to fight a Jihad that led to a mass genocide of the Armenians, the Hellen and Turks of that day. Infact the weapon of war used was designed by a Turkish Christian.
•Many Christian women converted to Islam to save their lives and some were raped.
•Osman Ghazi started the Ottoman empire which gave muslims political post and made it a religion of the state.

IS NIGERIA HEADING THE WAY OF
TURKEY?
•Virtually all the mistakes the church in Turkey made, the Nigerian church has made it.
•We are building Cathedrals at the
expense of disciplining men.
•Dis-unity amongst churches
•Ethnicity in the church
•Denominational rivalry, etc.
•Sharp division along doctrinal lines

MORE FACTS
•The spiritual foundation of Turkey is stronger than that of Nigeria and Christianity existed for over 1000years in Turkey unlike ours which is just 172years but Islam Radicalism uprooted it. If it can happen in Turkey, it can also happen IF we are not careful.
•The menace of Boko Haram has
destroyed a lot of churches in the north and it may take another 200years to evangelize Borno state alone.
•There is a secret agenda to Islamize Nigeria & other African nations as contained in Abuja declaration of 1989.
DON'T SAY IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE, IF WE DON'T RIGHT OUR WRONGS AS A CHURCH.
SOLUTION:
•HEART-FELT Intercession
•Aggressive evangelism- the terrorist reached out to the youths in the north first and gave them AK-47 and bombs, if we had reached out to them on time, they'll be carrying BIBLES today.
•Mission support:- God is holding the church responsible for Boko Haram, yet we are blaming the governement. If we had supported missions and missionaries, we would have those Insurgents to Christ long ago.
•Unity of the church is key in winning this battle. The last but not the least christians should be actively involved in politics. Enough of these muslims political office holder with islamic agenda.

ARISE CHURCH & LETS DO THE NEEDFUL
Please, send to christians on your friends list.

NO Dearie! Nigeria is no going the way of Turkey. Pastor Bosun Emmanuel of CAN who gave the insightful exposition whipped up pity and sentiments, coupled with politics. CAN as of today is an arm of the FG and it best explains why the expository on Turkey and Nigeria came up, just a year before the elections. The OIC was formed with the intent of Islamizing Africa but none of our past Muslim leaders have ever attended. Our president is the ONLY leader in Nigeria to have attended the meeting. Please DO NOT be deceived, Nigeria cannot be Islamized.

True, and that's because they have little or no knowledge about the way things are. Just like some will tell you that you must be Igbo if you're not Yoruba or Hausa.

@diamondcrownltd, please get hard facts and hold on to that which is true. I have never really liked CAN because the association is self-gratifying, self-seeking and inconsiderate. These terrible disadvantages have pushed them into politics. An average pastor in Nigeria is only concerned about the number of congregation he has. He does not matter if they are saved or not. Even the almighty CAN does not bother about the work of the mission, and that is why Nigerian missionaries are like beggars on the mission field. Go to African Countries or ask any missionary around, they're are not well taken care of. I have a lot of them around me and they have practically spent all their life savings on the work of the mission.

Ironically, Christian missionaries do the most work in a Church setting but they're not known and most are never recognized till they die, whereas altar pastors of these churches revel in wealth and amass resources for their resources. This is the way Pastor Ayo Ortisejafor functions, he decorates his necks with chains, send his 'boys' to poison the heart of gullible Christians into voting 'a man God has destined' for Nigeria while they share the loots of the country and glorify themselves in their private jets. Pastors today have sought after material things and have forsaken whey they are called. God knows better and like I usually say, "there shall be surprises in heaven".

Please, when will that happen? Until all Christians have been massacred, right? Why didn't he save Turkey?

Truth is, both Allah and Jehovah are mere national gods of the Arabs and the Jews respectively. Religion has done more harm to the world than good.

some dream of Jehovah's reign on earth, some dream of allah's government on earth too.
if british teens could leave a life of luxury to go fight for isis, then it will be more sorrowful for the common nigerian who even finds it hard to eat 3 times a day, as there will be more easy way to indoctrinate him
