Fellow Nigerian,permit me to use this medium
and express the saddness and the pains we
Nigerian students a are passing through in a
federal university(Michael okpara university of
agriculture umudike, abia state.
Early 2011,before prof. Hillary o. edoega was
sworn in as the vice Chancellor,we were paying
#22000 as our school fees,#8000 as acceptance
fees,7000 for hostel accommodation fees
etc .Now he came in and spoil in the whole
school administration system by increasing the
school fees to #32500 as at 2011-2013, #44500
from 2014-date .
Hostel fee from #7000-#60000.the worst of it is
that after collecting this #60000 from all the year
one student which ate more than 5000 in number
he hasn't provided any hostel accommodation to
those fresher and most of them normally sleep in
class and lesture hall due to lack of
accommodation.
He trickishly brought in a new system of
registering courses online which will cost you
about #5000 to even register your semester
courses by buying scratch card at the school
portal.
Now exams will be on on Monday being 16 of
march ,most student are yet yo meet up with the
school high financial demand at the same time he
instructed everybody to go and get exams permit
which without that you can't write exams.this
exams permit cost about #5000 to process.
now add
#44500+5000+60000+5000+15000compulsory
payment.then you will know what I mean when I
said prof.Hillary edoaga us the worst vice
chancellor .

When a federal university starts extorting this much, you begin to wonder what we really need the government for.
