Is there a practical reason as to why many cannot keep a civil volume when 'talking'? I know that it isn't all Nigerians as I did not come across this problem when I was in Calabar but the people that I am around now seem particularly prone to this habit, unfortunately. I am a full 30 meters away, yet can hear every word clearly, even though I don't understand the language. What is that about? |
