Very Important For All Prospective Corps Members. by nnamdiosu(m): 6:37am On Mar 15, 2015 |
i REMEMBER the first day i saw my call up letter. i looked up to heaven and said "God why? but i asked you for forgiveness na.......WHY KANO??" today, im looking back at heaven and saying God, thank you so much. i miss all those buses that the conductors are shouting very fast....kure, asibiti, kabuga. i miss guraza and suya. i miss fura. i miss the fun. but most of all i miss the monthly alert i received every month. my mother prayed all the prayers in the bible for me (i love you mum). my pastor kept calling me and binding all the demons (lol). my guys in lagos kept telling me to avoid knock outs (bombs). meanwhile some of those sisters were calling me more and using style to ask me after this what next (marriage? i just jump am pass) i was scared for my ppa, but God placed in a place where i could be directing other peoples ppa (NYSC ICT Department). i was scared for accommodation but God gave me the ability to accommodate other people that didnt have a place to stay. i badly prayed to God for help, but God made a a great helper to many people, some people i cant even remember now. A lady i meet in a market over here in lagos stopped me to thank me for the help i rendered her over there. i guess that was the greatest part of my mission to kano. i helped so many people without any strings attached both boys and girls. i can still remember the look on the face of one guy when i refused the money he gave me because of the help i rendered him. truly there is no joy greater than helping someone without receiving anything from him. i was amongst the three corpers choosen to represent kano state amongst all the corpers. my Z.I and L.I insisted that i must go. my boss at the NYSC secretariat insisted that they needed my too at the orientation camp in kogi state. in the end, they came to ask me to choose. i said i dont want to go. then they said OK, CHOOSE ANYONE YOU WANT TO REPLACE YOU.............I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY. Bottom line: this great sinner received mercy, grace and help from God and honestly i dont know why. it wasn't becos i was faithful. NOPE. Far from it but, in everything God was faithful and reliable. if you want to understand grace and mercy ask me about my life esp in kano state where i served. and you will see this kan God no get part two. just trust God. dont influence. DON'T SELL YOUR BODY. DON'T DASH YOUR SELF FREE SICKNESS (MADNESS OF THE LIVER, CANCER OF THE MIND, AIDS IN THE CELL E.T.C) so you can redeploy back. TRUST GOD. THIS SINNER TYPING THIS POST TRUSTED GOD. AND GOD HELPED HIM.HE CAN HELP YOU TOO. If i was posted to somewhere safe and peaceful in the east or south and im saying all this then, that's a different matter but i was posted to a battle field and THE GOD OF WAR STOOD UP FOR ME. Thank you Jesus 3 Likes |
