The idea that he stepped on the brakes and the car kept going at full speed has been seen as puzzling and the only idea why that can happen in my opinion is if the tip of a water bottle under his brake pedal is preventing the brake from engaging and accelerating the car he would have looked down to see what was going on since he had time to dial 911.

The problem with some of those cases with GM was they actually took it to a dealer before they had the crash a recall is bad but if a senior executive had the same experience at the testing area they should have issued a TSB at least the idea that dealers saying no problem instead of replacing is bad dealers didn't know as a TSB owners will still pay for the replacement
