Administration Intern [MMG Group]
About the program

The administration internship program runs for a period of three months. It is designed to enable candidates understand our business, business model and have the required skills, needed in the market place.
Interns whose appraisal reflects outstanding performance are hired as full time employees.
The intern will be assigned to a full – time employee of MMG; for a month, designed as a shadow period; whereby the intern watches and imitates the employee.
The remaining two month will be a test/trail period whereby the intern, is expected to have assimilated our company culture and values.
The program runs throughout the year. As this is an entry point into MMG. We recruit in batches from January – March, March – May, May – July, August – December.


About Us
Miraton Matador Group is involved in 5 major sector of the economy. The ICT industry; as Royal Metador IT Intl Ltd [Involved in hardware procurement services], the energy industry; as Miraton Rose Renewables [specialized in installation of AC/DC inverters, other energy saving devices and solar products], in the Outsourcing business, as RM Outsourcing [involved in semi – skilled outsourcing], in the finance lending business; as Latrose Finance [providing short term loans to the low & middle class individuals and growing businesses. Latrose finance is also involved in pawn brokerage], also involved in general trading; as T and T markets Limited.

Responsibilities (Outsourcing)
o Assist the administrative team/department for the under listed duties.
o Collate data related to our outsourced personnel.
o Collate data related to outsourced client.
o Documentation duties.
o Report preparation, correspondence duties with clients and outsourced personnel.
o Initiate payment vouchers, track bank transfers and other bank duties.
Responsibilities (Energy) (www.miratonmatadorenergy.com)
o Follow –up on invoice orders and product pick –ups
o Assist in personnel deployment and recruitment in the outsourcing business
o Update social media websites / forums / network with innovations, development, news and company’s information.
o Assist in planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and phone calls
o Work with assigned Energy Consultants and Technical Team to manage and support the sales process from initial data collection, through contract closing and deal entry. Role should improve efficiency and effectiveness of Energy Consultants
o Maintain standard workflow and adhere to business processes.
o Maintain effective communication with clients and retail suppliers.
o Escalate issues timely and appropriately to ensure client satisfaction.
o Provide assistance to Accounting team for monthly financial close.
o Contribute to achievement of team goals and objectives.
o Other responsibilities commensurate with position as assigned.
Competencies
o You’ll be analytical, enjoy working people’s environment.
o Has proven track record of delivering measurable results.
o Able to formulate plans and persuade others to support such plans
o Have ability to multi- task.
o Has experience in managing large group of persons effectively.
o Excellent Microsoft word/excel/PowerPoint skills.
o Charismatic and excellent communication skills
o Successful track record of achieving sales with any product.
o Strong orientation toward teamwork, ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
o The candidates must possess SSCE/B.Sc Degree/HND/OND in any degree from a reputable institution.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Capacity to manage people effectively and productively.
o Computer skills in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint

Others
o The Company is located along the Lekki – Epe Expressway; Just after the Victoria Garden City Roundabout. Residents along this axis will be considered first.
o Applicants with a salary of NGN25,000 for 3 months; upgrade to basic salary on successful appraisal, after the set period.
o A female applicant is more suitable for this job position.
o Transportation available during office hours.

Kindly note that this is an internship; to select candidates that are only interested. Slavery seems more like a forceful dominion. However, the proposed salary is in line with standard financial remuneration applicable for internship in Nigeria. Also; we would not want candidates whose motivation to gain first hand experience is not money but real administrative experience; which is devoid in most organization, with common practice being; photocopying and "boli" pricing.
