If you want to increase sales and get more exposure online, which equates to more traffic and SALES, one of the ways to achieve that goal easily is to own a blog.

Blog creation is one of the ways to have your gigs out there for more exposure which equates to more traffic to your fiverr gigs. If you depend on the traffic sent by fiverr to your gigs, you are on a very long thing; there are presently at least half a million to a million other sellers out there even in your niche. Some of these guys have already gained fiverr’s trust as very reliable sellers. These are the guys fiverr tends to promote more. Doubt me? Please check fiverr’s blog and look at the right hand side of the homepage; you will see some top-sellers’ gigs there as promoted by fiverr.

But why all the noise about creating a blog?

Good question! Now, one of the highest selling content writers on fiverr is http://fiverr.com/amitbt and the second best is http://fiverr.com/natashanixon. Go ahead and click those links. What makes them unique? Amitbt has a video on his writing gig (something most content sellers here on FMF and even over there in the US of A and other countries choose to ignore, or neglect. Have you forgotten fiverr’s promise of 220%)…

…and Natashanixon, if you read her writing gig description well, has a BLOG URL smack right there in the middle of it! I personally interviewed her via the fiverr chat platform, and besides a lot of things she said which time cannot permit me to mention here, she stated that her blog also had a hand in helping her get paying clients who then visited her fiverr page and ended up buying her gig. As at the time of writing this post, Amitbt has 141 orders, with over 11,600 reviews while Natashanixon has 32 orders in queue with over 14,600. Who do you think is winning here? So if you do not have a video on your gig and you can’t purchase one since you are yet to make a sell, then create a blog for your gigs. At least, you can do that for free…

…and your blog doesn’t have to be something complex or fancy.

Just go to http://blogger.com, or http://weebly.com, or http://about.me or even wordpress if you like, and create a simple site. Upload your fiverr profile picture and profile text to the site. Make sure you include the link to your writing gig (if you are in other niches besides writing, you can also use the idea here for your own gig).

Now get some PLR articles from the net. There are lots of PLR articles on the internet that you can just grab and REWRITE ‘EM. Just Google “free PLR articles”. If you find that too difficult, then go to http://ezinearticles.com or http://articlesbase.com and grab some articles there, and then proceed to rewrite them. I personally used PLR articles from different niches namely dating, health and fitness, MMO (Make Money Online) and software niches. This will make you look like a versatile writer. Ensure you include your fiverr gig link at the end of your rewritten article; make doubly sure that the link is clickable. You may or may not cloak it…it’s your choice. Test the link to make sure any visitor that clicks it will land on your gig page.

Then go to your gig, edit it and include your blog URL in your gig descriptions and save it. To make your blog easier to find on search engines, you should submit your blog to blog directories. I have a PDF that has a very huge list of blog directories where you can easily submit your blog for FREE. If you want it, coonect with me on facebook via http://facebook.com/ebenezer.olaleke

Check Natashanixon’s blog to see how simple it is. That blog does wonders for her.
Now, go and TAKE ACTION by creating a blog for your fiverr gigs!
Hope you like this post…

P.S. The next post will be on “About Us” page content, which is one of the HOT-SELLING GIGs on Fiverr and HOW to EASILY get ACCESS to TEN “About Us” page TEMPLATES…
…stay tuned!
