I discovered that my car fuel always reduce after it has been parked for 10 hours. Is this normal thing or something els?

For instance, last night I parked the car with fuel gauge of 10ltrs. This morning the level has reduced with average of 1-2ltrs.

you mean 10 litres was in your car and it dropped to 8 litres? If so how did you get the measurement? Your fuel will not disappear if your tank is not leaking.

It is normal.

My car, and every other car I know does same.

It's as a result of the physicochemical reactions of heating and cooling. Lemme just attempt to put it in layman terms:

It is because when you drive your car, it heats up and and when you park, it cools. The fuel evaporation on heating results in some irrecoverable losses, which is mainly noticed after the vehicle has been at rest for a couple of hours.

So when you park your car at night, expect the fuel levels to be slightly less the next morning. I don't know about the two whole litres loss anyway.

I noticed the same thing but its always a negligible amount of fuel never had a logical reason for it.

either ur tank is leaking or someone is draining ur tank at nite.....i once caught my security late one nite.....with a long hose.....

It's normal. Which car is it. My car manual says after about 5hrs of parking, some sound will be heard as a result of measurement of fuel or something like that. (can't really quote word for word now). But at the end of the recalibration, it arrives the accurate fuel level in the tank and not that which u see when driving. So sometimes mine increases or decreases.

2 litres loss is abnormal. I believe your fuel tank cover is leaking. 2 litres is a big loss which is not possible with the cap leaking. I think someone siphoned your petrol.

Weeches are using yhur fuel to power their brooms/groundnut husks. However, where do yhu park? Either someone is sipping from yhur fuel tank or yhur tank has started giving back to the environment without seeking yhur consent.
