Naaah. In ondo dey eat butterfly larva(caterpillar) nd something they call utan. Dunno d english name tho

Just pick it from the ground and land it inside water, it cannot fly again.

In the morning, scoop it from water and fry. Delicious..

1) Edible Winged termites
It goes by different names such as ; Aku "Igbo", Esunsun "Yoruba", Chinge "Hausa", Ogan , Edon doroko "Bini".
They're usually pushed out during the raining season. Termites are rich in protein and packed full of nutrients . Believe me when i say it's really tasty with a nutty flavor. They can be eaten alone as a snack or as an accompaniment to a number of savory dishes.

oh i don't buy them..i got people in delta state and when ever i go visiting i get to eat lots of stuff cos my aunty loves to cook and is a hell of good cook too.As for the worm i usually buy that when i am entering warri from those hawkers & that's not expensive

Weird good That termite is very delicious.....
When i was in the primary school during winter, we will rush out in the morning with brooms in our hands and gather it as they fly.......mom will prepare them for us, after school hour food is in collaboration with garri.....
