2015 Election : A Contest Between Nigeria And PDP by briefness: 4:03pm On Mar 27, 2015
All what we have seen to the run up to 2015 election has indicated that any Nigerian government can perform if put under pressure by the masses.

PDP has ruled the country with impunity knowing that there is no credible alternative. They boasted they will be in power for 50 years and beyond. They neglected popular will of the masses. They enriched themselves to the detriment of the masses.

Now they have suddenly realised that actually power belongs to the people and this has forced some sort of performance from the party especially under the present government. Whenever there is healthy competition, the customer becomes king.

Nigerians have every reason to try something other than the PDP. This is to further reinforce the fact that the electorates, who are the customers in this case can hire and fire a sitting government. It has been shown over and over in our history that we are capable of hiring a sitting government, now it is time to fire.

APC may not be the solution to our problems but if we need to keep governance in check and make government accountable to the people, we are left with no option than to make the change.

APC has a lot of aggrieved PDP politicians with them hence they are also faced with credibility issues. For this, Nigerians have always proven that they're good followers and will act in accordance to the body language of the leader. Dora Akunyili's NAFDAC proved that this is true as she did not lead non - Nigerians to achieve the success she recorded.

If GMB is positioning himself to be focused and be deligent to provide purposeful leadership, party member will comport themselves and comply.

After 16 years of PDP leadership, Nigeria cannot boast of being able to provide any basic amenity for upto 30% of the population - electricity? portable water? Security? Even leaving out Boko Haram, does security agents respond promptly to robbery distress calls? Roads? Education? What is actually not on the decline?

A vote therefore for these to continue under any guise is a vote for impunity, arrogance, mediocrity and of course, a vote against the Nigerian state.

Actually I like this particular paragraph in your write-up... It's not like you don't know the truth but then you're right in saying that the masses does possess the key to making our country what they want it to be... GEJ listens to the masses unlike the previous adminstration of obj... when you have a leader who actually is willing to serve and not dictate, you don't give it away just like that... we chant we want change but are we really changed as individual I still strongly believe that Goodluck is the man to make our country what it's supposed to be which is great...
