Pounded yam/fufu with egusi soup or with oha soup or with onugbu soup with lots of meat and de-boned fish. *sweating and drooling already*

They all mouthwatering and a hearts delight
But yes Iyan ati egusi and efo stands out among all.  Especially the sweet taste together
Moy moi with egss or sardine.  Hey what about fried rice, the yellow kind w/veggies or not.  Beside jollof.  Amala is not nasty at all @dblock, your aunty could use more lessons on her soup cooking probably.  There are special type of Obe that makes Amala so enjoyable.  It won't tast too good with Soup with unfrie fish or meat to u.

In some places they dont serve visitors pounded yam in any occassion. So, i will not support its use as National dish.

I think we should use rice as official national dish and it can be prepared in various ways like fried,jollof,white and so on.

Maybe,we can create a dish that has Yoruba,Igbo and Hausa ingredients in it & call it one Nigeria

its obviously between rice, eba and yam. probably rice

I would have gone with everybody on iyan n veggie,but then hausas don't eat that,well at least majority of em
