JOB PROFILE FOR LOGISTIC/OPERATION OFFICER
Region: Abule Egba, Agege, Iyana Ipaja, Aboru, Command, Ijaye, Agbado, Fagba, Iju, College Road
Office location : 17/19 Progress College Road, Oko Oba. Agege Lagos State.
We are into Sales and Distribution of building materials.
Also into production of building blocks and Interlocking Stone
Position: Operations/Logistics Officer
Reporting to: Managing Director
Division: Logistic/Procurement and Sales
Required Start date: Preferably by the 1st of May.
Permanent or contract: Permanent
Position Summary and Primary Objective: The core function of this role is to provide proper management of all the vehicles, delivery of goods, procurement and expansion of client base for the business.
Main duties/Key Accountabilities:
Logistics
• To be responsible for all vehicles
• To see to the proper functioning and maximum productivity and profitability of all the vehicles
• To make sure servicing is carried out as at when due and also all documents (papers) of the vehicle are up to date.
• To see to the efficiency of all the vehicles
• To be the representative (face) of the company on matters of logistic with the drivers and anywhere such is required.
• To see to the engagement and disengagement(when necessary) of Drivers
• To see to repairs, purchase and replacement of parts. Negotiating and getting the best price bargain for the company.
Procurement
• Ensure that materials needed for production are available on site as at when due.
Sales
• To coordinate the sales and distribution of the all materials to customers
• Maintain and sustain relationship with existing clients and ensure that the company is a trusted supplier for their needs and explore new customer relationship.
• Address all operational issues with customers and ensure their demand is dispatched as scheduled
• To see to the overall profitability of the business
Competencies /Education/Training and Experience: Minimum of Bsc/HND ANY RELEVANT FIELD with at least 2-3 years of experience.
• Must be a team Player
• Must have ability to multi-tax
• Must a solution driven person
• Must have the ability to work under pressure
Skills/Knowledge Required:
• Should have a knowledge of Logistic and Chain Supply Management
• Ability to drive is an added advantage

Age: Preferably between 28yr-35 yrs
