Obiegeli was sent to her grave by her 57-year-old husband after she was beaten for coming home late.

The suspect, Ikechukwu Anajejwu, allegedly manhandled his wife, Obiageli, after which she collapsed and died. The incidence happened at 7,Okoye Close, Agbaroko in iba, Lagos where they reside.

According to P.M.NEWS, the trouble started when the suspect returned home around 7 p.m and did not see Obiageli at home. This made him angry and he pounced on his wife immediately she returned home. He beat her till she became unconscious.

She was declared dead on her arrival to the hospital. The neighbors who saw what happened, reported the case to our friend - the police.

Mr. Ikechukwu has been charged with murder. He pleaded he had no such intention of killing her and what happened was an accident. He's now facing the consequences of his action.
