i was reading through a celebrity daughter's pix who she gave birth to for her for former hubby but noticed she bears her present hubby's surnname.

while gisting wit my colleague at work concerning this issue,he then told me that what she did was wrong no matter the reason

my question is;
if a woman is separated from her hubby who dosnt partake in anytin concerning the child which makes the woman solely responsible for the child's upkeep nd she eventually remarries nd d new man is willing to accept the child nd marry her as well,is there anytin wrong in changing the child's surnname to the new hubby's own?

You should ask a knowledgeable lawyer about the laws of the land. Unless he disowns the child, then he can be 'adopted' by the stepfather and you have to go to National Population Commission to make it official.
Do your own research though.

So why shouldn't he stand by her in every way.

He doesn't need the child, so the child doesn't need his surname too. Except the name has goodwill privilege.
