Gionee just launched Pioneer P4S, the organization's most recent cell phone in the Pioneer series. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It packs a 5-megapixel rear cam with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front cam. Aside from the Android version other specs details are like the Gionee Pioneer P4 that was launched a year ago.

Remarking on the release, Arvind. R. Vohra, Country CEO & MD – Gionee India said

abi o. Just 4.4 kitkat. This fone will only sell to the non - tech savvy generation. What would have been an ideal p4s is 540x960 ips screen 4.7inches. Nothing lower than 2000mah BA3.Mali 450gpu. And let's say quad core 1.4ghz .8.8mm thickness and some p4 users can consider upgrading .gionee should not follow the path of T*cno . And begin producing d same phone with different names. Not to think of the fact dat dey dd a sw update for p4 . And some p4 users are already running 5.0.2 lollipop by custom ROM.

Even my p4 came with 4.4, I doubt this news.
