Samson Ndubuisi, a 31-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy may be jailed for life if found guilty of the two-count charge of conspiracy and sexual assault by penetration levelled against him.
A 31-year-old homosexual, Samson Ndubuisi, has been arraigned before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old student.
Student Pulse gathered that Ndubuisi, who lives at o. 3/4, Umuaka Close, Ilufe Junction, Alaba Market, Lagos, on a two-count charge of conspiracy and sexual assault by penetration, offences contravened the provision of Sections 259 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
He is facing life imprisonment for the crime.
The Prosecutor, ASP Soji Ojaokomo, told the court that the accused committed the crime at his residence on the 12th of April, 2015 after sending the boy on an errand, NAN reports.
“The complainant said that on that fateful day, he went to fetch water at one Mrs Doris Ezenwa’s company," Ojaokomo said.
“He said while he was fetching water, the accused called him and took him to a room where he forcefully had canal knowledge of him through the anus."
Ojaokomo said the accused has been having sex with the boy, paying him N100 each time.
“The boy said that each time he went to fetch water Ndubuisi would take him to the usual spot and have sex with him.
“The complainant also said that the accused also bribed him with N100 each time he slept with him."
Luck ran out on him when they were caught by two men and the victim said he complied under duress.
“The boy said the accused threatened to kill him if he dare tell his parents about it,’’ the Prosecutor said.
The accused pled not guilty.
Following his plea, the Magistrate, Mr Patrick Adekomaiya, granted the accused bail in the sum of N 50,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till May 28 for trial.
