Yours is the one laughable. We bought ORUN MORU Vhs way before living in bondage movie back in late 80s. When do you think Vhs entered Nigeria? I still remember watching Baba sala movie in 1988/1989 in our national Vhs player 'front-loader'. IT IS BLATANT LIE THAT "LIVING IN BONDAGE " was the first Nigerian movie in Vhs. Quote me anywhere.

I can say for sure that Rita Dominic speaks well, Stella Damasus acted 'Ahanna' part 3 (Igbo movie) in the 90s and she spoke mostly Engili-Igbo. The issue with these actors and actresses is that they form too posh to act in their own native languages, though they may speak fluently at home.

He was a fluent Igbo speaker; he cut his teeth in the Igbo-language film genre (with movies like 'Taboo', 'Unforgiven Sin', the 'Osuofia' series, etc).

Don't say what u don't know, they may not be be fluent in central Igbo but in their dialect, they re champions, I have a friend who is lagos born, always speaks english always but when an Igbo customer comes speaking Igbo my guy go start dey blow his Okpala dialect same with my Ohafia female friend.

Oge Okoye is a superstar in Igbo movies. Born and raised partly in UK, and a UK citizen, her Igbo skills are excellent.

Yea, just like me. I am very fluent in my Anambra (Onitsha) dialect and less fluent in Central Igbo (speaking). Looks can be deceiving though.
