POETIC JUSTICE

You married her with a smiling face
Treating her with care and rendering lots of praise
You impressed your neighbours with your devoted time
When she had cough; you bought her lime
You then changed and your good deeds were paid
But the cheque was bounced by the decisions you made

There was a greedy philanthropist
Stingy to the needy but not to the chief priest
He was pleased with the hype he bought
He promoted peace to cover his deals with the ritual cult
His wealth then frowned and his hope door was locked
Blessings wanted come back but blessings don’t like to be mocked

He controlled traffics the way it ought to be
He was polite to drivers and he collected no fee
He had a soft heart and his uniform was well ironed
He was liked by the young and beyond
He was then wrongly accused of touching blood
In reality! He only touched hearts and the accusations were totally odd
