CAF releases list of Africa 11 in 2008 Keeper  Idriss Carlos Kameni, Cameroon ), Defenders ( Gomoa Woel , Egypt ; Taye Taiwo , Nigeria ; John Mensah, Ghana , and Joseph Yobo, Nigeria .) Midfielders (Yaya Toure, Cote d’Ivoire; Aboutrika Mohamed, Egypt; Michael Essien, Ghana; Sulleyman Muntari, Ghana) Attackers (Samuel Eto’O Fils, Cameroon, and Adebayor Emmanuel, Togo). Not a bad list but Yobo should have been put as a striker. Yaya Toure, Sulley Muntari, Taiwo unquestionably deserve it. The forward department may stir some debates with the exclusion of Zaki. But If I was in position to select the team I'll sacrifice a midfielder(Essien) to create a space for zaki i.e I'll pick 4-3-3. |
