Before we move further to know the major
causes of acne, it is very important to know
what acne is all about.
What is Acne?
Acne is a skin disease in which oil glands
are found at the base of the hair follicles. It
is very common at the puberty stage when
the oil glands begin to come alive. At that
period, the oil glands are stimulated by the
male hormones which are produced by the
adrenal glands of males and females. Acne
is medically called Acne Vulgaris.
It is contagious among the people of the
same age bracket and all races. Also, acne
could be genetic and the treatment is based
on its severity and persistency. Acne could
trigger pimples according to research made
by Washington University School of Medicine
scientists, it has been discovered that there
are good and bad bacteria strains that
influence how severe and frequency of acne.
It was published in Journal of Investigative
Dermatology in March 2013 that it is not all
acne bacteria that trigger pimples. There
was a particular strain of bacteria that help
to maintain your skin and make it free from
pimples.
Young men suffer from acne for longer
period due to the testosterone that is present
in high quantities which could worse acne
on the skin. Here is a helpful tip on the six
main causes of acne:
.
1)Touching Your Face
When you touch your face quickly on daily
bases, your face becomes the dirtiest part of
your body. Majority of us do this without
knowing. This is the common cause of chin
and jaw line breakout. Also, ensure that you
clean your cell phone at all times or make
use of ear piece because by holding the cell
phone to your face could spread bacteria
and give you breakouts on the cheeks.
.
If you found out that you have breakouts at
your neck area, jaw line and chin, it could be
as a result of more dairy or sugar intake
which your body cannot tolerate. Your skin
is an excretory system that helps to
eliminate things that does not agree with
your body.
.

2)Too much of sugar or dairy is
very difficult to digest and could come out
in form of cystic blemishes at the lower
area of your face.

.
3)Stress
Clinical studies have proved that stress
worsen the entire skin condition because it
induces the adrenal glands into
overproduction of cortisol. This in turn
makes sebaceous glands to produce more
oil and skin become oily. This is the reason
why many people experience increase in
acne which get more inflamed and puss-
filled papules during the stress period.
.
4)Not Washing Your Face
Oily skin creates a breeding ground for
bacteria thereby cause blemishes. When you
sleep with your make up on, oil, dirt and
debris built upon the skin during the day
could trigger new blemishes.
.
5)Use of New Skin Care Products
When you introduced a new skin product to
your skin, it is possible to get some blemish
purging most especially if your skin is giving
more exfoliation than normal.
.
6)Menopause
Hormones are known to be chemical
messengers produced in our bodies to
correct everything that ranges from
metabolism, cell growth and reproductive
cycles and mood. As soon as they fluctuate,
they trigger depression, weight gain, fatigue,
sleeplessness, adult acne and breakout in
adults.
