Secondly, Cross River + Akwa Ibom states were originally created and named South Eastern State before it was divided into the duo later on. When it was Capital of SW region. Has since been dwarfed by Cairo, Lagos, Kishasa, Luanda, etc.

Take a map of nigeria and tell me whether Anambra is more eastern than calabar... the regions were not based on geography otherwise you shouldn't hear of north central or south south.
