debbie: The south south is the best place to stay in Nigeria..the environment is conducive, the air is fresh, the people are hospitable(not tribalistic and not religious fanatics)..Everything is just great..if all SS governors can work hard and develop their states, there is no need hustling in Lagos or abuja. 6 Likes |

This is great. Kudos to the governor 'cos in most states, the governors only focus on capital cities for developmental projects |

I served in Akwa Ibom state. State college, Abak road, Ikot ekpene precisely. On the surface, Ikot Ekpene is a beautiful village but when you go beyond the surface, beyond the surface now is "deeper into the city" then you will realise there is nothing in Ikot Ekpene. I can count the number of houses there with a bathroom, toilet and Kitchen attached to the main house. Not modern bathroom and toliet sef. Ikot Ekpene is a glorifed / advanced village. Oh, I've missed this old woman at plaza where I always go to eat pounded yam with better white soup anytime FG pays allawee. Anyways, Akwa Ibom ayaya. Ikot ekpene ayaya. 5 Likes |

A lot has been done there and there is even more in the pipeline but what is an Annang? How does the language differ from Efik/Ibibio? Who came up with that term? |
