The Rector of Imo State Polytechnic, Rev. Fr. Wence Madu, is being dragged to the dreaded Okija Shrine in Anambra State over the crisis rocking the institution. According to a letter signed by one Ukaegbu N. Ogidi, and allegedly extended to the rector, it accused Rev. Fr. Madu of injustice. The letter stated that Ogwugwu Okija only kills those with unclean hands and the rector should reverse the injustice against the complainants to avoid coming to the shrine.

The custodian of the shrine instructed the rector to look for the Chief Priest for briefing and other formalities on arrival. It warned that if the rector failed to show up at the shrine, they would come to his office or residence. The polytechnic boss was said not to be in the office when journalists visited to ascertain whether he received the letter
