My Toyota Rav4, 2007 model has the habit of burning engine oil. The engine oil gauge go down beyond normal level every 2 days.
I have to increase the engine oil every 2 days.
What may be the cause.

You need a new engine.

Even if nah palm oil 2days is very short for almost a liter of oil.

Do you see where the oil goes? Or you just notice the level going low? How does your exhaust look?

If you cannot see where the oil is leaking outside the engine, if your engine is 2AZ engine (4cyl engine), then your engine might be affected by the Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) of oil burning by some of these engines.

Just search the internet for the TSB and check if your vehicle VIN is involved.

The solution is included on that TSB.

I am sure u are using the wrong oil grade to service you car i.e 20w50 .Engine shorting oil is one adverse effect of not adhering to manufacturer specification .For your information , the factory oil spec for your car is 0w20 or 5w20 .
