Not too long ago,Bill Gates and wife Melinder through their foundation made a commitment of $50million for the fight against polio in Nigeria. http://www.voanews.com/english/2009-02-03-voa27.cfm Am shocked and confused here. Do we have to wait for one foreigner from millions of miles away to battle our health challenges? How did it get this bad? Aside gathering to raise fund for political reasons:either in Naija or for Obama,cant our "rich"men and women donate to good course anymore? |
