Having met lots of Nigeria graduates, interacted with them and watch them closely,I have come to ask myself if NIgeria graduates are really educated.
There is a difference between Education and Schooling.A lot of peeps passed through the four walls of schools but very few actually acquired real knowledge. How many of our Mechanical Engineers can stoop low to go work with a road side mechanic while waiting for his service(atleast to gain some skills in that regard?).
Skill is really needed in this world of today. This is the generation of Skill workers. If you are not skillfull then know that you are not needed because with your skills you can start your own Company and be your boss.
True education is having something to offer your community, society as a whole when the need arises.
Go for skills more than you go for certifications because at the end,it is what you have Under that will help you to Stand. Therefore,Understand and know the skills you need to acquire that will make you an asset to the world rather than a burden to yourself, family and society at large.
