No wonder. I had to leave the house to go for a stroll cuz of this data network thingy, thinking twas the house or street...all to no avail. Was already thinking that maybe my phone's the culprit. I do hope the fuel situation is resolved asap. It's already affecting airlines and lots of businesses.

Re: Airtel Nigeria Statement On Fuel Scarcity by wengerjay(m): 5:49pm On May 24, 2015
The country has been run into the ground by the outgoing government.
No fuel, no electricity, telecom companies are threatening to close business, ATMs are not dispensing cash, all commercial activities are at their lowest ebbs.
Jonathan says he had conceded defeat in order not to throw the country into crisis.
Is the country not in deep crisis already?

My fellow Nigerians, the truth is that we are all faced with two basic choices with regard to the management of the downstream petroleum sector: either we deregulate and survive economically, or we continue with a subsidy regime that will continue to undermine our economy and potential for growth, and face serious consequences. GEJ : 7th January, 2012 on Fuel subsidy Removal

they import the one they use not for them to sell. Or are there not any component they import? Do they source all their raw materials here?

Why can't they simply import the product since the pricing regime is fully deregulated and they consume the stuff in extra large quantities. These are the reforms needed to break the monopoly of the cartels.

Something tells me GEJ and Iweala have colluded to punish Nigerians for voting "change". Meanwhile, telecom operators should not hide under the guise of fuel scarcity to shortchange subscribers. They ought to be investing in alternative energy supply especially solar power which environment friendly.
